Frequently Asked Questions

What services does our medical center provide for employers and workplace health needs?
Our medical center offers a full suite of occupational medicine services designed to keep your workforce healthy, compliant, and productive. We provide workplace medical screenings, including drug testing, audiogram testing, and pulmonary function testing, to help ensure employees meet the health and safety standards of their specific job roles. We also conduct fit for duty exams, DOT physicals, and respirator clearance exams, which are vital for positions involving safety-sensitive tasks or regulated environments. Additionally, our team manages work injury case management, streamlining communication between employers, injured workers, and insurers for efficient recovery and return to work. Whether you're an HR professional or a small business owner, our occupational health solutions are tailored to support your company's well-being and regulatory compliance.
What is occupational medicine, and how can it benefit both employers and employees?
Occupational medicine is a specialized branch of medicine that focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses. Our center's occupational medicine services help ensure that employees are physically capable of safely performing their job duties, which benefits both the individual and their employer. Through workplace medical screenings, fit for duty exams, DOT physicals, and respirator clearance exams, we evaluate each employee’s physical health in relation to job requirements. We also offer audiogram testing and pulmonary function testing to monitor long-term workplace exposure risks. If an injury occurs, our work injury case management program coordinates care, treatment, and documentation, helping the employee recover while reducing downtime and claim costs for the employer. Ultimately, occupational medicine helps maintain a healthy, safe, and efficient workplace environment.
How do we support employees who have been injured on the job?
When an employee suffers a workplace injury, our medical center offers immediate and ongoing support through comprehensive injury treatment and work injury case management. We provide same-day evaluations to determine the extent of injury and initiate a treatment plan tailored to the individual’s needs. Our providers are experienced in occupational health and understand the importance of returning employees to work safely and promptly. Our work injury case management team coordinates with employers, insurance providers, and the injured worker to facilitate effective communication, proper documentation, and follow-up care. Additionally, if required, we conduct fit for duty exams to assess when the employee is ready to return to their position. With a focus on safety and recovery, we ensure that each injury case is handled with efficiency and compassion.
Do we offer medical exams for regulatory and immigration purposes?
Yes, our clinic provides a wide range of exams to meet regulatory and legal requirements. We offer DOT physicals for commercial drivers to meet Department of Transportation requirements, including drug testing and audiogram testing as needed. For respiratory or hazardous work environments, we conduct respirator clearance exams and pulmonary function testing to evaluate lung function and ensure safe respirator use. Additionally, we provide immigration physicals in compliance with USCIS guidelines, including required immunizations and a full medical evaluation by a civil surgeon. Whether you're applying for a commercial license or immigration status, our staff ensures a smooth, thorough, and compliant examination process from start to finish.
What general healthcare services are available for individuals and families?
In addition to occupational services, our medical center serves as a trusted provider of primary care and family health services. Our family doctors offer routine check-ups, chronic disease management, preventative care, and immunizations through our clinic, ensuring comprehensive care for patients of all ages. Whether you're in for an annual physical, managing conditions like diabetes or hypertension, or seeking immunizations, our providers are committed to your long-term health. We integrate primary care with occupational medicine, so employees can receive personal and workplace-related healthcare in one convenient location. With our full-service approach, individuals and families receive personalized attention and continuity of care to stay healthy at home and on the job.
